Q: What types of makeup do you use and are they good for photography?
A: We are constantly updating and changing our products. We use only the highest quality products on the market. All of the makeup is HD, hypoallergic, waterproof and/or water-resistant. Most of the brands in our artist kits are of professional grade, which assures gorgeous and long lasting finish. Some of our favorite brands are Smashbox, Makeup Forever, MAC, Nars, Morphe Brushes, Urban Decay, Ben Nye, Dior, Laura Mercier and much more! We use the Dinair Airbrush Makeup which is a light-weight, oil-free water based formula. All great for HD, photography and videography!
Q: Do you offer airbrushed makeup? What’s with all the hype?
A: Yes! Airbrush foundation is a lightweight, beautiful foundation that is sprayed on through a tiny compressor gun and fine mist of air. It feels like a “cool breeze”. It creates a beautiful, flawless look that is waterproof, smudge proof and sweat proof. It looks gorgeous in pictures and natural up-close.
Q: I’m worried my makeup won’t last all day! How long will it last?
A: We LOVE when clients write to tell us just how long their makeup lasts. We use eye shadow base as well as special primers and potions for each skin type, depending on normal or dry skin. We then set all of the makeup with an amazing setting spray. It will. not. move.
Q: Do you have any experience with Ethnic/Acne/Mature skin?
A: Yes, absolutely! We have worked with all skin types, tones, and specialty makeup.
Q: What size party can you accommodate?
A: We can do up to 10 people per artist, provided we have enough time. It all depends what time you have to be ready that day and what time we can begin. If you have 10 or more girls and need to be ready around 10am, we would bring another makeup artist that we have on-call to assist.
Q: Are you covered?
A: We have full liability coverage!
Q: Do you offer false eyelashes?
A: Yes! We offer false eyelashes. They will look so fabulous in pictures which is why we highly recommend getting them. Want lashes to last longer then just for you special day? Ask us about eyelash extensions. They will last weeks. Hint: Honeymoon!!
Q: When should I book my trial and what does the trial include?
A: The best time to book your trial is usually 6-8 weeks before your wedding. The trial will include a one on one with Tara, where you will consultant and tell all about the wedding details! Such as the colors involved, the flowers, if their is any theme, etc. We will usually spend anywhere from 60-90 minutes together to make sure you’re completely satisfied.
Q: Do you travel and how far do you travel?
A: We will travel as far as you need us to. Depending on how far we have to travel there may be an additional travel charge and hotel charge.
Q: What forms of payment do you except?
A: We accept Cash, Credit Card (3% fee will be added), or PayPal.
Q: Is a deposit and contract required to hold my event date?
A:Yes, a signed contract and a deposit is required in order to reserved your date. Please be advised that no date will be reserved until the contract has been signed and deposit has been paid. The deposit will be put towards your final bill and it is non-refundable.
